Web Designer & Freelancers

ShoppiCart, a leader in the shopping cart software industry, has opening for a Web Designer.
This is a graphic design and web layout position working directly under our Marketing Director.

Work Responsibilities: see work details on “Services Section”
• Designing the look and feel of all ShoppiCart sites,
• ShoppiCart application
• Creating Social Media Marketing packages
• Designing Product Pages
• Designing Category pages
• Designing Drop-Down Menu
• Flash Animation
• Logo/Branding Packages
• Creating all advertising including banner, print and PDF
• Designing templates for the ShoppiCart application
• Creating video tutorials, PDF’s and other educational content to better assist customers in using ShoppiCart
• Responsible for setting up all usability testing for all ShoppiCartproperties.
• Develops best practices utilizing “state-of-the-art” techniques, equipment, and advancements within the design community
Job Requirements
• Must be reliable
• Must be able to complete the work in a timely manner
• Familiarly with e-commerce products and shopping cart applications is desirable
• 2-3 years of solid experience in Web Design
• Excellent working knowledge of HTML, XHTML and CSS. Working knowledge of PHP, Javascript, WordPress, Smarty Templates, mobile enviroments and MODx is a plus
• Must be highly proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash (including Action Script)
• Be able to effectively turn design concepts in to a web page
• Must possess strong creative and design skills
• Maintain current knowledge of technologies and interface standards
• Exceptional communicator, deadline driven, self-directed, very well-organized, thorough, detail-oriented
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
